Connoisseurs appreciate the soft single malts from the distillery, which is one of the few in Scotland that still operates its own malt floors. Balvenie also produces smoky whiskey rather untypical for Scottish Speyside. Balvenie 19 Years Cask and Character matures the entire time in former Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at 47. 5
