la piscina Fitz im Atelier One character in the painting" 'La Piscina' was painted en plain air, during the last days of Summer in the region of Piedmont (Italy). Depictions of water are continuously present in Francescas work. This is due to its nature of altering the surrounding scenery. An abstract translation is often more interesting than the building itself. This artwork was made for the sake of exploration of how water distorts the environment and to honor the medium of watercolor and all the
