The Kottbusser Tor is shown with a view of the "Neues Kreuzberger Zentrum" building wing. Wilhelminian style buildings were demolished for construction between 1969 and 1974 and the eviction methods were radical, giving the building a bad image from the start. Today the building is called "Centre Kreuzberg" and the building by the architects Wolfgang Jokisch
