Thanks to the side openings, the radio can be operated while wearing gloves. Modular loops on the front and sides allow the attachment of additional pouches for e. g. spare batteries. A bungee cord provides secure retention and, with a quick release fastener, allows fast removal and stowage. The pouch can be attached using the Faststick system to all common modular systems
