Growing Pains OPAK Dieses Werk hat ist in"Growing Pains is part of a series of four paintings in which I was interested in focusing on the ground and the idea of walking on a path and, with that, what this path might be and the things we might encounter there. It plays with the idea of fire, of imminent danger and discomfort, while the figure just lies there peacefully, waiting and accepting this possibility. The stone next to her shoulder is symbolic of the emotional weight of this
