They are becoming increasingly popular due to their valuable nutritional properties. They are especially prized in Eastern cuisine. We recommend briefly heat treating shiitake mushrooms (about 5 minutes), as otherwise they will harden. Depending on their intended use (e. g., for sauces), it's worth soaking them for about 30 minutes. INGREDIENTS
