early 1930s vintage printed floral silk chiffon tiered ruffle dress with eau de nil crepe lining vintage novelty print it appears to have beenBeautiful example of early 1930s style, a muted repeat printed silk chiffon overlay features circles and small flowers. This is backed with an underlap in eau de nil coloured crepe. No label, but very well made to a high standard, with much hand finishing throughout. Not an easy task on such a fine fabric! Easier access than some, with side snaps extending up to underarm. The body of the dress is suspended from the shoulders using a more durable rayon
