1940s New York Creation Straw Hat cream Suede covered platform measures in1940s smooth straw hat with a wide black sash encircling the crown. Hat can be worn to shade the eyes or at the back of the head. Straw is pliable but not floppy. There is an inner grosgrain band and a New York Creation label indicating a size 22. Excellent condition with only minor aging wear.
