1940s suit in a brown and ivory weave that reads as a taupe  Jacket has princess seams that nip the waist

Waist: 35”

Set is in excellent condition for it's age with only minor wear and some discoloration under one arm (see photo of underarms)

The belt is lined and in excellent condition with only minor wear/aging

Honestly photos don't do justice to this dress. It's quite a showstopper and very figure flattering. Bodice has padded shoulders and and metal zippers at side and the back of the neck. Skirt is a line and features an interesting draped peplum that twists over the sides of the hips and ends in a sort of ruffle at the back. The original belt is present. The dress is in
