1990s Galanos Couture Madame Gres Inspired Silk Jersey Dress comme_des_garcons This 1950s black taffeta ball1990s Galanos Couture dress which looks very inspired by the French couturier Madame Gres. The dress has an unusual combination of colours; for the bodice, a deep lime green satin and brown and eau de nil silk crepe for the skirt and deep inverted bodice. The satin work has very fine pintucks which fall in a diagonal direction on the dress. The reverse of the dress has a cut out back and fastens to the side with a modern concealed zip that is original
