The Drill Sergeant badge is a temporary decoration surrendered upon completion of duty as a drill sergeant
Material: 95% Wool / 5% Nylon
Air Force Reserve or Air National Guard who has "accomplished sustained individual combat mission readiness or undertaken the preparedness for direct weapon-system employment"
The award was intended to recognize those members of the Army who had been trained in glider assault tactics and was presented upon completion of a combat glider flight into enemy held territory
Criteria: Worn by Electronics Technicians (ET) with ranks from Petty Officer 3rd Class (E-4) to Petty Officer 1st Class (E-6)
