Made from dark navy blend of wool, polyester, acrylic, and nylon which has been bonded to a light blue vinyl like material (also nylon according to garment label), jacket has high neck, covered zip hook and loop fastening (can't use the common branded name for this closure for legal reasons) at front placket, and a single, unusually wide flapped outer pocket. There are lapels at the shoulder
