Skirt is partially lined and has a straight cut (not a pencil) with a walking vent and metal zip closure

There is a self tie at the waist faced in the same bandana print fabric that lines the bodice and makes up the bloomers inside

There is an area by the zipper that looks like it might be a fade mark but I couldn't quite tell if it was really there or it was just the lighting

1930s Blue Velvet Evening Gown pussy_bow Skirt is partially lined and1930s blue velvet bias cut gown. I have shown it two ways in the photos. I believe the intended way to wear this would've been with the opening at the back, but as you can see on the form, it fits fine either way. Bodice has a high ruffled collar that closes with a single button and loop. The back (or front) has a keyhole opening and there is underbust midback seaming on both sides, no waist seam. There is no closure, the gown slips on over the head.
