Since the interior is quilted, it is much warmer than it looks and warmer than a typical suede coat. Aside from the quilted, insulated interior, the coat is crafted from "Skinner" Japanese microsuede. Halston pioneered the use of this fabric in his 1972 collection, and in the years that followed, it was so favored that Skinner actually couldn't produce
