The reverse carved crystal depicts a lively bumblebee in remarkable detail, highlighted with enamel and set within a 15ct gold mount. The surround is finished with an Etruscan Revival style border, reflecting the periods fascination with classical design. A charming and well preserved example of Victorian craftsmanship.
