Heavily blues rock influenced it is the final full length release by the band before Jim Morrisons unfortunate death in July 1971. Despite a change of producer half way through (Paul A Rothchild dismissed the bands new style as cocktail music, Bruce Botnick took the reins) the album brought forth arguably the bands biggest track Riders on the Storm.
