The zoom range might seem unusual, but it's a pretty decent wide to normal spread, and there's a non zero probability that it's an obscure homage to the Pentax 110 20 40mm zoom. The zoom ring riffs on Takumar styling, too, so someone at Pentax HQ was probably feeling nostalgic. Clean glass, good function, light cosmetic paint and finish wear.
