Georgian Pink Topaz Brooch Turquoise Possibly John Churchill Duke ofGeorgian foil backed pink topaz fine gold 18ct brooch. This piece has been converted from a clasp, most likely in the Victorian era. The bright stones are set amidst pretty scrolls and leaves. Circa 1810 20. Foiled back stones were quintessential to Georgian jewellery and heightened the colour and refraction of the gems especially under candlelight. Measurements: 4. 6cm x 3cm
