Antique Portuguese Pottery Palissy Style Majolica Lobster Wall Dish Plate, 1900 Redo Signed "Marin" lower right andA good antique Palissy Ware style Portuguese majolica wall plate, circa 1900. The plate decorated with a large lobster to the center resting on a textured ground and flanked by two sets of mussel shells. The plate having a a manganese glaze with shades of brown, blue, cream and pink, the rear of the plate with a cream glaze and pierced to allow the plate to be hung on the wall. Condition is excellent, no damage or restoration. 9" diameter X 2. 25"
