Antique German Sterling Gilt Silver Floral Engraved Repousse Snuff Pill Box 1880 Recently Added by the French- Polish artistSOLD An elegant German Sterling Silver gilt repousse decorated snuff or pill box, circa 1880. The hinged lid decorated with a repousse work floral basket design, the side of the box with corresponding floral & scrolled design, the box opens and closes with ease and closes tightly. The box is stamped to the underside "935 Sterling Germany", which makes it a slightly higher grade than sterling silver, this box most likely made for the American market.
