Victorian Pearl Anchor Brooch Tortoiseshell 4 carats in the topsA natural half pearl pav set 15ct gold Victorian fouled anchor brooch, marked 15ct on the reverse. This brooch could also be used as a pendant using the circular loop at the top of the brooch. The anchor is a symbol of steadfastness and hope. The symbol is directly correlated to the anchor of a ship stopping it from drifting into danger. Circa 1870. Measurements: 3. 85cm high x 2. 2cm wide at the widest point
