Georgian Rococo Ring Iridium (excluding the wires)A rare and finely preserved Georgian Rococo mourning band ring, delicately crafted in rich yellow gold with ornate black enamel detailing throughout. The band is set at intervals with rose cut diamonds in silver topped settings. Elegantly inscribed Henra Thompson Ob. 4 Oct 1762 Ae 75, commemorating the life and passing of Henry Thompson at the age of 75 on 4th October 1762. The makers mark is indistinct but possibly I. W.
