It carries on its legacy by inheriting all of its strength such as having an all steel frame, integrated folding legs with wheels, a reliable direct drive induction motor and a miter able rail system to make 45 degree cuts. There has also been a modest improvement to its cutting capacity so it can now cut 48 inches on a plunge while only adding a few inches to its foot print.
