and a thrill to drink

It reveals high tannin and a reserved style

but this wine comes close to perfection for my palate

yet it has plenty of structure and substance to tackle at least five more years

This hulking, seamless Barolo is at least a few years from early maturity and should continue to drink well for many, many years. It is simply magnificent. Anticipated maturity: 2015 2030.
