French "Que Hier Que Demain" Ring Gold are elegantly claw-set in 18ctA beautifully romantic French ring from the 1960s, crafted in 18ct gold and imbued with deep sentiment. At its centre, a delicate plus symbol is set with a shimmering rose cut diamond, followed by the engraved words "que hier" (than yesterday). Next, a minus symbol adorned with two vibrant rubies precedes the words "que demain" (than tomorrow). The phrase comes from the 1889 poem Lternelle chanson, or The Eternal Song, by Rosemonde Grard.
