Agua Nueva can sometimes have fortification, but is often a high contrast well defined moss agate! It tends to be fairly hard and solid, and takes a mirror polish! Agua Nueva means "New Water" agate, and is near where the Laguna Agate is mined on the Agua Nueva Ranch. It can on occasion have fractures, but generally yields very workable slabs for cabs. Agua Nueva Agate is getting harder and
