Each variety is its own voice that shines bright in this classic vintage. You feel the soft fruitiness and acidity of the Barbera grape beautifully contrasted against the tannic firmness of Nebbiolo. Blackberry, licorice, dried mint and tobacco are put on full display. Anticipated maturity: 2015 2025. Wine Advocate 92 points
