Fine Antique French Louis XV Marquetry Rosewood Ormolu Secretaire Abattant 1880 Sold Nikolay StrulevA very fine quality antique French Louis XV rosewood, marquetry, ormolu and marble topped secretaire abattant, circa 1880. The serpentine shaped secretary is modeled as a semainier ( seven drawer chest), the feather banded rosewood case is sumptuously inlaid with floral fruitwood marquetry on the front and sides.
