It produces extremely flared pitchers with peristomes so wide they take the appearance of a fat lip. The squat character and wide peristome often passes into its offspring, such as the many different greges of Nepenthes (Rokko x boschiana) x veitchii that have been produced over the years. All plants are originally from Exotica
