This very beautiful antique chest has a serpentine shaped white marble top, with a carved edge of acanthus leaves. The walnut body is extravagantly inlaid with Mother of Pearl decoration, the locking drop front (key present) has floral inlay and the edge of the door is inlaid with a frieze of ebony and bone.
