Here we took the largest and most vigorous ventricosa in cultivation (a clone called Denver) and crossed it with Borneo Exotic's giant spectabilis

venosa is a compact American Pitcher Plant variety with a range from New Jersery south into Georgia

We've found that it produces its best pitchers in the spring (fingers crossed we get a flower soon since our biggest plant is now vining)

We expect the uppers on these to be even better than the lowers
