Distenta IV Syrah 2022 Champagne Pol Roger The Pernod liqueur of todayThis red wine is a bold blend of 82% Syrah, 6% Grenache, 5% Petite Sirah, 3% Mourvedre, and 3% white varietals, all sourced from three of the estate vineyards and each contributing to the character of the wine. With 2022 being a dry year, the stems were more pliable allowing them to ferment a third of the grapes whole cluster a relatively high percentage for Syrah. A little more than half the wine was aged in new barrels, while the remaining wine was
