Ajuga reptans variegata Mattus Happiest in sun but willThis Bugle is such a popular plant in the garden! I think it's because they are such a reliable semi evergreen groundcover in the shade. This one is a lovely collector's plant with its unusual and rare variegated foliage of silver, cream, green and a touch of pink, above which are held blue flower spikes in Spring, adding a bright spot under decidous and evergreen trees alike. They grow 20 cm tall and 40 cm wide, and spread in the right conditions,
