Antique Georgian Mahogany Red Leather Library / Reading / Cockfighting Chair, circa 1800 Recently Added traveling in the summer monthsA good antique Georgian mahogany & red leather library cockfighting or gambler's chair, circa 1800. The chair designed for the sitter to sit facing the back of the chair, both the seat and backsplat having red leather with brass studwork. The back having an oval panel with a carved rosette to the center, the chair raised on outswept legs. This is a rare and unusual Georgian chair and is very stout and robustly made, condition is very good. 31" tall X
