Solid Silver Compact Mirror Initials B R C 1946 vintage compact mirror The mirror is good &This is an eye catching fully hallmarked sterling silver powder compact made by R Davis & Co & assayed at Birmingham in 1946. As far as I am aware this is the only maker who made sterling silver powder compacts in this style. The lid & base have wonderful guilloche engraving. The mirror is excellent & gives a perfect reflection. The compact is in excellent condition no dings or damage. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. Beautiful & stylish this was
