deftly worked into a complex pair of entwined hearts - sort of mind-boggling when you consider how it must have been made

and it dates from the 18th Century

It's set with particularly vibrant white opal cabochons

Crafted in 9k gold and dating from the Art Deco era, circa 1920 the kittens are silver or base metal and enamelled. The 9Kt stamp suggests it was made in the USA.
