Victorian IN HOC SIGNO VINCES Sacred Heart Cross Pendant banded agate asymmetricalDATE: Victorian, c. 1900 Striking French cross pendant dating from the late Victorian period. The front is finished in colourful enamel, with the sacred heart at the centre, and the words IN HOC SIGNO VINCES (in this sign thou shalt conquer) emblazoned on the lobes. It's beautifully made, crafted in pinchbeck around the turn of the 20th century, circa 1900. MEASUREMENTS 6. 4 x 4. 4cm WEIGHT 14. 0g MARKS No marks present, tests as pinchbeck CONDITION
