There is no soldering needed to fit this kit - we have pre soldered the switch and put solder on the end of the leads - the only thing you need to do is drill the small hole in the rear door "dish"

This item WILL fit all the Land Rover Discovery 3 and 4 models from 2005 -2016

The badge on the L322 should be located approx 115mm from the left edge and 136mm up from the bottom edge - see attached pictures

In theory you need an M8 rivnut fitting tool to fit these captive nuts but if you drill a hole and ensure the rivnuts are a tight fit and can't spin then in practice we find we can hammer the rivuts into the hole and then fit the step and the rivnut will tighten inside the chassis as you tighten the bolts

On many models the corner sections of the bumpers are textured bare plastic but are painted black on higher spec models or models with the extra 'Black Pack' option
