Each stone represents the first letter of the message: Diamond, Emerald, Amethyst, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, and Topaz. The ring is beautifully crafted in 15k yellow gold with an intricately engraved band and a scrolled gallery, dating back to around 1860. Acrostic rings were especially popular during
