The letters are formed in a bold font, with a turquoise stone in the centre of the clasp. Its crafted in 9k gold throughout, circa 1910. Auld Lang Syne is a song written by Robert Burns in the 1780s, and today has become an anthem sung at New Year. The phrase 'auld lang syne' roughly translates as "for old times sake",
