Weingut Brand ‘Electric Chardonnay Acid Test’, 2022 arak this Pinot noir is trulyThis is 90% Chardonnay and 10% Riesling, grown organically on limestone soils in the northern Pfalz of Germany. The Chardonnay here has a little more acidity due to the cooler temperatures and limestone soil, and the naturally acid rich Riesling gives it an added boost, hightening and sharpening its flavor and aromatics as well. Pair this with scallop aguachiles, or a cold poached shrimp roll on a hot summer day!
