Torre Alle Tolfe Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG, 2022 verde Aged in stainless steelThis wine is made of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo. The wine is fermented and aged completely in cement to preserve the wine's terroir. The palate is full of blackberry preserves and plums, balanced by soft tannins. We would pair this with a hearty lasagna, filled with ground beef, pork, and veal. Torre alle Tolfe traces its name back to the 8th century, when a watchtower was built nearby as part of the defense strategy of the people of Siena.
