In the poem, he looks forward to his life as an old man looking backward at his life while sitting by the fireside. There are lots of images with color as he describes trees and flowers and crags, and I used the colors in the images to create the colorway. YARN BASE I dyed it on Sock Perfection, which is perfect for everything from socks to shawls to sweaters and beyond. It's
