Sierra de Gredos is known for having a mosaic of soil types and especially difficult growing conditions
While it is rich in fruit flavors the high altitude of the grape vines give the wine a fresh mineral acidity
We felt this distillate expressed itself more like a grape eau de vie than an “unaged Armagnac” (which it technically is)
It is juicy but with oak aging
bright natural acidity of the grape as well as the site as a whole
