Art Deco "Lucky Donkey" Pendant old cut diamond although in this case possiblyDATE: Art Deco, c. 1920 Quite remarkable (and very bizarre) antique lucky charm featuring a donkey looking through its horseshoe on one side, and on the other a charming little poem: A DONKEY LOOKING THOUGH HIS SHOE BRINGS ALL THE BEST OF LUCK TO YOU I've never seen one remotely like it. An internet search for the words returns nothing. It dates from the 1920s, and I'd say with 99% certainly that it will absolutley bring good luck. MEASUREMENTS 2. 8x
