Contesa Pecorino Abruzzo, 2021 cotes de rhones exclusive to the Astobiza estateUsing Pecorino grapes trained through the espalier system, half of the harvest is fermented in steel tanks, and the other half in barriques, after which both parts are blended and refined sur lies for 6 months during which time it also undergoes battonage. This wine has an intense yellow brilliance and carries a Mediterranean scent. An ageable wine, it may be aged for up to 5 years after grape harvest.
