Victorian 15k Gold Bee Brooch mizpah general signs of light wearDATE: Victorian, c. 1880 A realistically designed brooch crafted in 15k gold. The brooch depicts a bee with fine detailing to the wings and texture to the body. The back is hallmarked 15ct and dates from the Victorian era, circa 1880. Bee's were a popular concept in the Victorian era as they symbolize industry however, to us at Butter Lane, they hold a special place in our hearts, with it being Manchester's symbol.
