Victorian Gold Masonic Orb Pendant boxed An unusual antique brooch modelledDATE: Victorian, c. 1890 A particular good antique masonic orb pendant modelled in 9k gold (with silver innards). The pyramids that reveal when opened have been hand carved by its original mason owner, with an array of mysterious (to me anyway) symbols. The individually hinged top gives us a clue to its age the newer pieces have a solid cage top instead of hinged arms. This one dates from the late 19th Century, circa 1890. MEASUREMENTS 2. 2 x 1. 8cm
