Red Aesthetic Chinoiserie English Transferware Plate Aquila Eagle in Flight Oriental Flowers Woods University of Chicago Printed over the chintzThis lovely saucer plate entitled Aquila (Latin for Eagle) depicts the revered bird in flight over lush foliage and flowers. Very difficult to find! It has a Chinoiserie theme with the flowers and a nice poie crust edge. Measures 5 3 4" condition: No chips or cracks. There is crazing present. Marked on back.
